It is anticonvulsant

 

·  Status Epilepticus

is used in the treatment of status epilepticus which is a condition in which seizures present for a long time or a seizure follows immediately after another.

 

·  Preanesthetic

is used to relieve the symptoms of anxiety and tension in the patients undergoing surgical procedures
