Prevention and treatment of thromboembolism
This medicine is used in the treatment and prevention of thromboembolism that may occur after an acute myocardial infarction, post cardiac stent implant and cardiac valve replacement. It can also be used as a prophylaxis for Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), in preventing thromboembolism during a prolonged hospitalization after a critical illness and in non-valvular atrial fibrillation
