Use

• Hypocalcemia (low blood calcium levels)

This medicine is used in the treatment of hypocalcemia (low level of calcium the blood).

• Renal Osteodystrophy (calcium deficiency in kidney disease)

This medicine is used to treat renal dystrophy, a bone disease characterized by low levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood due to kidney failure.

• Hypoparathyroidism

This medicine is used in the treatment of hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone) which may lead to low levels of calcium and increased levels of phosphorus in the blood.

• Secondary Hyperparathyroidism

This medicine is used in the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism, which is an excessive secretion of parathyroid hormone in response to low blood levels of calcium in the body.
