Uses of Zole 2% Ointment

What is it prescribed for?

  • Tinea Corporis

Tinea corporis is a fungal infection of the skin of the legs and arms. It is commonly known as ringworm infection as it forms a ring-shaped, itchy growth just below the skin. Zole 2% Ointment is used in the treatment of tinea corporis by reducing the symptoms such as Itchy skin, ring-shaped rash, red and scaly skin, etc.

  • Tinea Pedis

Zole 2% Ointment is used in the treatment of tinea pedis (also known as athlete's foot), which is a contagious fungal infection that affects the skin between the toes.

  • Tinea Cruris

Zole 2% Ointment is used in the treatment of tinea cruris (Jock itch) which is an infection that affects the skin of genitals, buttocks, and inner thighs.

  • Cutaneous Candidiasis

Cutaneous candidiasis is a fungal infection typically on the skin, nails or mucous membranes caused by candida (a type of fungi). Zole 2% Ointment is used in the treatment of cutaneous candidiasis, an infection of nails and skin caused by the candida fungus.
