Use

• Amebiasis

This medicine is used for the treatment of amebiasis, a parasitic infection that affects the intestine and also for the treatment of amebic liver abscess (accumulation of pus) caused by Entamoeba histolytica.

• Trichomoniasis

This medicine is used in the treatment of trichomoniasis which is a sexually transmitted disease caused by Trichomonas vaginalis.

• Bacterial Vaginosis

This medicine is used for the treatment of non-pregnant women with bacterial overgrowth in the vaginal area. It is characterized by abnormal and foul-smelling discharge, vaginal itching, etc.

• Bacterial infections

This medicine is used to treat the infections caused by bacteria in blood, lungs, genital areas caused by Bacteroides fragilis and Clostridium species.

• Surgical prophylaxis

This medicine is used for the prevention of postoperative infections in patients who are undergoing contaminated or potentially contaminated surgeries such as elective colorectal surgery.

• Giardiasis

This medicine is used in the treatment of giardiasis, which is an infection of the small intestine caused by giardia.

• Acute Ulcerative Gingivitis

This medicine is used in the treatment of ulcerative Gingivitis, which is characterized by painful, bleeding, and ulceration of gums.

• Leg ulcers and Bedsores

This medicine is used in the treatment of leg ulcers and pressure sores (damaged skin for staying in the same position where the bone and skin is in contact for longer durations)
