This medicine is used for the temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with oropharyngeal disorders such as stomatitis (mouth sores), mucositis (swelling and ulceration of the mucous membranes lining the mouth), sore throat, oral thrush, etc. It also helps to relieve tooth and/or gum pain due to minor dental procedures and from wearing dentures
