Budamate 400 HFA Transhaler is used to prevent and treat symptoms such as breathing difficulty, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, etc., associated with COPD.

Description

Budamate 400 HFA Transhaler is a combination of Budesonide and Formoterol. It is used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD is a group of lung conditions that cause blockage of airflow leading to breathing-related problems) and asthma (narrowing of the airways with excessive mucous production). It helps relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulty, coughing, etc., associated with such respiratory conditions. Budamate 400 HFA Transhaler prevents the release of certain chemicals that cause swelling and narrowing of the airways. Hence, it relaxes and widens the airways leading to the lungs and helps to ease breathing. This medicine is used only for the maintenance treatment of asthma and COPD and is not useful for treating an acute attack. Budamate 400 HFA Transhaler causes side effects like nausea, vomiting, hoarseness of voice, fungal infections in the mouth, cough, headache, sore throat, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Budamate 400 HFA Transhaler should be used as instructed by your doctor. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor depending on your clinical condition. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own, as it may cause your symptoms to become worse. Budamate 400 HFA Transhaler may not be suitable for all. It is not recommended for use in children younger than 12 years of age as there are no safety and efficacy data available. Inform your doctor if you have seizures (fits) or liver or heart problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

• Acute otitis media

Acute Otitis media (AOM), is an infection of the middle ear (the area behind the eardrum), common in infants and young children. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat acute otitis media caused by bacteria.

• Sinusitis

Sinusitis is the swelling of membranes that line your nose and surrounding sinuses. It is often caused by bacteria and sometimes, viruses and fungi. You may experience a stuffed nose and pain or pressure behind your eyes, nose, cheeks, or forehead. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat bacterial sinusitis.

• Lung infections

Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat the following lung infections: 1. Pneumonia:- It is an infection of the air sacs in the lungs (either single or both lungs). It can be bacterial and viral. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat pneumonia caused by bacteria. 2. Bronchitis:- It is the swelling and irritation of bronchial tubes that regulates air passage in the lungs. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat bronchitis caused by bacteria.

• Skin and soft tissue infections

Skin and soft tissue infections occur when the bacteria invade the skin and its supporting structures. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat all skin infections including abscess (puss pockets) caused by bacteria.

• Cystitis

Cystitis is the swelling of the urinary bladder usually caused by a bacterial infection. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat cystitis caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and Klebsiella species.

• Gonorrhoea

Gonorrhoea is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by Neisseria gonorrhoea bacteria that infects both men and women. It spreads during vaginal, oral or anal sex, without protection. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat the gonococcal infection.

• Peptic Ulcer

A peptic ulcer is a sore on the lining of your stomach or intestine. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a bacteria that cause ulcers. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used in combination with antacids/anti-ulcerative medicines for the treatment of H. pylori infections that cause peptic ulcer(s).

• Dental Abcess

A tooth abscess is a bacterial infection that occurs from an untreated cavity, decay, or injury. Your dentist will make a small cut into the abscess to drain out the pus resulting from the infection. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat bacterial tooth infections and to stop it from spreading further.

• Bacterial Endocarditis

Bacterial endocarditis is an infection in the inner lining of the heart caused by bacteria. It occurs when bacteria from another part of your body travel through the blood and attach to damaged areas of your heart. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat bacterial endocarditis.

• Pharyngitis/Tonsilitis

Pharyngitis and tonsillitis are infections that cause swelling and soreness in the throat and tonsils. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and/or pharyngotonsillitis (when the infection affects both, the pharynx and the tonsils).

• Typhoid fever

Typhoid fever is a bacterial infection caused by Salmonella Typhi. This bacteria is spread through contaminated food or water by a human carrier. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat typhoid fever.

• Pyelonephritis

Pyelonephritis is the swelling of the kidneys due to bacterial infection. This infection starts in your urethra or bladder and spreads through the ureters to the kidneys. Biomox 250 MG Capsule is used to treat Pyelonephritis.
