Uses of Clofranil 25 MG Tablet

What is it prescribed for?

• Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Clofranil 25 MG Tablet is used in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) which is a psychological condition characterized by repetitive unreasonable thoughts and compulsive behaviours.

• Depression

Clofranil 25 MG Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of depression such as anxiety, irritability, lack of concentration, emotional distress, etc. It can arise in various forms including menopausal depression (depression that occurs after menopause), psychogenic depression, masked depression (depression with more physical symptoms than psychological ones), depressive neuroses (prolonged mild depression in an unstable person) and dysphoria (lack of interest) and depression in alcoholics/drug addicts.

• Cataplexy associated with narcolepsy

Clofranil 25 MG Tablet used in the treatment of cataplexy (sudden muscle weakness) associated with narcolepsy which is a neurological disorder that causes excessive sleepiness during the day, sudden loss of consciousness, unexpected episodes of falling asleep, even in the middle of an activity or conversation
