Use

Herpes simplex labialis

This medicine is used to treat herpes labialis (a viral infection caused by the herpes simplex) characterized by cold sores and/or small fever blisters on the face or lips. It is used in immunocompetent adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above.

 

 

It does not cure the infection and stop the spread of these conditions, however, it decreases the severity of the infection and reduces the symptoms
