Use

• Epilepsy

This medicine is used alone or with other medications to treat seizures in patients suffering from epilepsy (a brain disorder that causes repeated seizures). Uncontrolled jerking movements and loss of consciousness are some of the symptoms of epilepsy.

• Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome

This medicine is used alone or with other medications to treat seizures in patients suffering from Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (a severe form of childhood epilepsy characterized by recurrent seizures).

• Bipolar I disorder

This medicine is used to delay mood episodes in adult patients with bipolar I disorder which is also known as a manic-depressive illness characterized by episodes of severe mania and often depression.
