Uses

·  Inflammation 

 

This medicine is used to reduce or prevent swelling associated with conditions like asthma, colitis, allergic skin reactions etc.

·  Joint inflammation  

 

This medicine is used to relieve swelling and pain associated with diseases like arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, gout etc.

·  Eye/Ear inflammation

This medicine is used to relieve swelling, irritation, burning of the eye and ears caused due to infections, allergy, exposure to chemicals etc.

·  Chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting

This medicine is used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with the use of chemotherapy medicines for the treatment of cancer.

·  Bacterial Meningitis  

 

This medicine is used along with other antibiotics to relieve the symptoms of meningitis in children.

·  Cushing's syndrome

This medicine is used as a diagnostic test for Cushing's syndrome.

·  Immunosuppression
