Uses

Acute pharyngitis

is used to prevent and treat bacterial infections of the throat and airways. Common symptoms may include a sore throat and difficulty in swallowing.

 

Tonsilitis

is used to prevent and treat bacterial infection of the tonsils.

 

Sinusitis

used to prevent and treat bacterial infections of the sinuses present behind the nose.

 

 

Acute bronchitis

used to prevent and treat bacterial infection of the airways leading to the lung. It is also used to treat chronic bacterial infections especially when the symptoms get worse.

Pneumonia

used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs. Symptoms of this condition may include high fever, tiredness, headache etc.

·  Skin and Soft tissue infections

used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the skin and soft tissue beneath the skin. Symptoms may include red and painful hair base, fever and chills etc.

·  Infections of urinary tract

used for the treatment of infection of the urinary tract given that it is not caused by Gonococcal strain of the bacteria.

·  Impetigo

used to treat bacterial infection of the skin characterized by red and painful sores on the skin around nose and mouth
